Process #2 (Redo)

 


The first image is the photo of an ocean I found on the internet. The second is after the image was image-traced, the opacity lowered to about 75% and the image was cut down to the shape/size of the sink where I wanted to place the ocean.

Fantasy Project Progress 2

  This is my second progress picture for this piece. I had a lot of trouble working with Illustrator on this project,  but this is the concept I am going for. I am trying to marry the ideas of sinks as mountains and the water coming from the faucet as waterfalls, but I don't feel that it is really coming across how I initially imagined it. I will continue to work on it and resubmit it when I am happier with it. I would really appreciate some critique/suggestions on how to marry the concepts better, because I can see it in my head but cannot bring it to fruition like I hoped.

  This is the iconic image I will be using for the Destroy the Icon Project. It is an image of surrealist artist, Salvador Dali. I think there are many directions I can go with this image and would like to reference some of his iconic paintings within my project.
