Second Iteration of Dali (Progress?)


 This is my second attempt at an iteration of Dali. I think it is more "destroyed" in this image, however, I still am not entirely happy with it. I played around with the inverse in this image, but this was before I learned how to cut out the hairs, so Dali's hair still looks like a helmet on his head. This is something I will work on in my next iteration.

    I think you are getting close but are not quite there. I would try distorting the image more and getting some more textures to be involved. You are very close I feel and have done great work!

Progress 1 - Narrative

  This is my first progress shots at the Narrative project. I have just been having fun with my concept which is very fantastical. The story is about a scuba diver on another planet that finds pirate ducks fighting over treasure in the bottom of the pool. I really hope I am understanding this project and doing it right, because I am actually really liking how this is coming out. It is still a little rough in some places, but it moves from the top image to the bottom. My main problem right now is that the first image is a lot more landscape oriented, while the bottom is the opposite, and I would like for them to be both the same orientation.

  This is the iconic image I will be using for the Destroy the Icon Project. It is an image of surrealist artist, Salvador Dali. I think there are many directions I can go with this image and would like to reference some of his iconic paintings within my project.
